Taxiing behaviour.

Postby Ron Attwood » Sun Dec 03, 2017 1:25 am

Somewhere between 128 and now the taxiing behaviour has taken a turn for the worse. Instead of making turns in the normal fashion, they now 'skid sideways' and then abruptly turn in the right direction. Anything can be done to sort this?

Are you glad to be back? :D

I can't see any problems here. Do you have ATC mode on? That could cause it.

Eh oop. ATC mode's only effect is to make the aircraft you're in formation with appear in a constant right bank. So I rarely use it and then only when airborne. Everyone in our group sees the same slidey thing, so it's not just me. :? Would users using different versions make a difference, even if they're supposed to be compatible?

What sort of latency values are you seeing in the user list? If you have bad network connections then that may cause a slewing effect.

They range from 5(me) to 250ish(Texas) and all stops in between. I'll make a point of checking next Saturday. Now you mention it, Gunter from Germany complained of a scheisse connection. :)

EDIT: Actually, he's far too nice to use such language.
