Hi,

I was wondering if it's possible when after reboot of desktop/laptop you can start joinfs and create session automatically.

Hi Jos,

there certainly is. I know a lot of programs have an option to do it, but you can do it manually for any program you like. Here's a link to a web page that explains one way of doing it:

http://www.howtogeek.com/208224/how-to-add-programs-files-and-folders-to-system-startup-in-windows-8.1/

That will run JoinFS. If you want to have it create a session automatically then you can use the following command line:

JoinFS -tray -create

'-tray' is available in version 1.1.3, by the way. That will start JoinFS in the system tray.
'-create' will create an initial session for others to connect to.

If you are running as a public hub, then either enable the hub settings first and just do:

JoinFS -tray

Or, to set the hub up from the command line you can do:

JoinFS -tray -hub -hubname "My Hub" -hubabout "General flying" -hubvoip "ts.server.com" -hubevent "Tues, 2000 UTC, KSFO"

Hope that helps,
Peter

Hi Peter
Very interesting post.
One question : where exactly do you write the different command lines for JoinFS ?
Sorry for my ignorance.

You can write them in a .bat file which you can write in notepad.

Or, if you have a shortcut to JoinFS, you can right-click on the shortcut, select Properties, in the Shortcut details you will see the command shown in the Target box. You can just add the options to the end of that line.
