Shared Cockpit issues P3D4.4

We were doing some shared cockpit testing today and had very little success. I was using P3Dv4.4 and my buddy was using P3Dv4.3. We were both using JoinFS 1.4.20. We were able to join each other's cockpits, see animations when the "host" moved controls, see gauges change with altitude/airspeed changes, but the "client" was unable to effect any changes. We made sure that the "host" was giving permissions to the "client" such as Radio/Autopilot or Flaps/Gear, but when the "client" made changes (I.E. Radio Frequency or flaps or gear) the "host" saw no change. We tried it both ways, with myself as "host" and then with myself as "client". We also tried it with two different aircraft, one with relatively complex systems and the other with very simple default systems. I'm not sure what's going wrong here.

Thanks for reporting this. I confirm that I can also repeat this bug. The hand over of other controls appear to rely on handing over the flight controls as well. In other words, if all options are ticked then it works, but only handing over navigation doesn't work. Will look into a fix.

Thanks,
Peter

Should be fixed in test 1.4.24, available now.

I apologize for the slow response, but I had to wait until I had someone to test with. We tested with three different aircraft. Two worked quite well. (JustFlight DC-6 & FlightReplicas DC-4) The A2A Connie not so well. I think that you have the bug fixed and the A2A Connie is just too complex.

Okay. A2A sometimes do some unconventional stuff with the controls so if some of the basic systems aren't working then maybe it's because of that. It's a bit difficult to say as I don't own that aircraft.

Peter, I understand that not every different payware aircraft will work. I just included the data because we tested it.
