Is 690B just one variation of the Duke? Were the others working?

Could you try the latest 1.4.7 because I've added a slight delay between creating and initializing the aircraft which may help.

We tried 1.4.7 clients, shall I bump up the server as well you think?

It wouldn't make any difference if the server was on 1.4.6. As long as you were on 1.4.7. So did you see the problem with 1.4.7? It might be worth testing the same thing again both with 1.4.6 and 1.4.7, just in case the changes in 1.4.7 caused it.

4.2 update today:

Updating vehicle airspeed in the map UI no longer causes the pitch and bank to reset back to 0


Does this give us hope!?

I'm doubtful that is related to this problem. I may have to contact them about this if we're not getting anywhere with it.

What's the current state of the problem from your perspective, is 1.4.8 either better, worse or the same as the pre-1.4.4 versions?

Still the same issues, tour on hold for second month. Turboprops affected really badly.

Peter it's definitely time to engage that crutch fix you had in mind... We're going on months of engines cutting out and postponed tours, while it's made for some amazing hilarious clips. It's also pushed away many members from flying online, ultimately impacting the total number of people beleiving in JFS...

Please consider dedicating full resource to chasing this down. We'd hate to have to explore options due to this only major flaw.

As a thought:

It seems to me that this is not a JoinFS issue, but rather a Carenado issue -- vPilot users were having similar problems and the resolution, as far as I can establish, has been to ensure that Carenado aircraft are not injected as "AI" to represent other users, instead substituting for other models.
