Model Match Scan

Postby sgraypgh » Wed Jan 11, 2017 3:41 pm

Went through checking all of the box and doing a scan and find many of the install aircraft/objects in my P3d v3 setup, however, there appears to also be a number of items that are not listed when trying to substitute. Many of the objects are in the Boats folder, but other boats are being scanned and included. Does the object/boat need to be in sim.cfg or aircraft.cfg style, or maybe this is a bug. Thanks for helping.

Hi,

It does search both aicraft.cfg and sim.cfg in each folder.

If you can search for the object that's not showing up in your folder structure to find out which file it resides in. Then if it's in the folder that you have ticked, it's likely to be a bug, in which case could you PM me the contents of the file, please?

Otherwise, if it's outside of the available folders to tick, then you can actually specify any extra folders that you need in the scan window.

Hope that helps,
Peter

Hi,

could you try again with test version 1.1.3. I've fixed the scan code so that it picks up more objects, including boats.
