Re: 1.4.9 Shared Cockpit

Hi Peter,

Just to confirm all seems well in 1.4.12 and we are burning fuel again!

Thanks for the fix.

Best,

Simon

Re: 1.4.9 Shared Cockpit

Just to say this now seems fixed in 1.4.10/11. Thanks!

However, we're still not burning any fuel in the C172. Any chance you might be able to look at this?

Thanks again!

Re: Engine cut v1.4.3

But surely the solution is as you stated yourself above: don't allow the affected (i.e. Carenado) models to be injected as AI! Ensure that they are substituted for alternative models instead. That doesn't stop anyone from flying the Carenado model, it just means that in your session they must be dis...

Re: 1.4.9 Shared Cockpit

Hi Peter,

We've experienced it in several different combinations: FSX-SE to FSX-SE, FSX-SE to P3Dv2 and P3Dv4 to FSX-SE.

Cheers,

Simon

Re: 1.4.9 Shared Cockpit

FYI Peter -- a couple of our instructors have now noticed the throttle issue and sadly it makes things pretty unflyable, so we've had to roll back to 1.4.3 for now.

Will keep an eye out on upcoming beta versions etc!

1.4.9 Shared Cockpit

Hi Peter, Flown three lessons in 1.4.9 so far: The good news is that the odd behaviour we were seeing with the alternator and magneto switches desynchronising seems much better. However: A couple of times now I have experienced issues with throttle (and to a lesser extent, mixture) desynchronisation...

Re: Engine cut v1.4.3

As a thought: It seems to me that this is not a JoinFS issue, but rather a Carenado issue -- vPilot users were having similar problems and the resolution, as far as I can establish, has been to ensure that Carenado aircraft are not injected as "AI" to represent other users, instead substit...

'Static' Encoded IP?

Hi Peter, A thought which has sprung to mind: is there any possibility that the 'encoded' IP address could be somehow linked to the JoinFS instance (a little like a TeamViewer ID, for instance) so that it could remain static even if the real IP changes? I appreciate this might not be feasible but it...

No fuel burn in shared cockpit 1.4.3?

Hi all, Noticed a slightly odd thing then other day. Whilst flying in shared cockpit via 1.4.3, it appears no fuel is being burnt. Fuel values synchronise perfectly at the start of the flight - it's just that they don't change subsequently! Gauges, Shift-Z, the fuel and payload dialogue and our VA A...

Re: 1.3.3 Shared Cockpit

Hi Peter, No problem! The jittering was only when the other party was flying (I don't think it made any difference whose aircraft it was originally) -- it was always perfectly smooth for me when I had the controls (and likewise seemed to be smooth on the other end when I was flying). I remember noti...
