Re: encoded adress not working

This does sound very much like a NAT Loopback issue then. https://subledge.wordpress.com/2014/09/22/what-is-nat-loopback/ There maybe an option in your router to enable NAT Loopback. Regardless of the NAT Loopback, if your port is forwarded correctly external users will still be able to connect with...

Re: Whazzup and JoinFS Maps

I can't see how any of this would affect it since both whazzup.txt and cache.xml show no pilots when no pilots are connected, but one remains on the map Something is making the map think it's still there. For Example: If the aircraft callsign was ATC1 the map may think it's a controller. Controller...

Re: encoded adress not working

That sounds like the encrypted ip is your external ip then. So it would be the same on all clients on your network. You would need to forward a port in your router to one of the machines running JoinFS. The connecting client then knows which client you want to connect to. The other machine should th...

Are they both using port 6112?
Have you opened any ports in your router?

Curious...

Re: Whazzup and JoinFS Maps

You'll have to work out why they're different.

Their callsign?
Their aircraft?

Re: Whazzup and JoinFS Maps

Web server shouldn't make a difference. The map will read the whazzup every 5 seconds (with that config) and display what it has read. The main JoinFS map has a feature whereby it will wait X seconds after the last position it has read for an aircraft, before it removes it from the map. For example:...

Re: JFS & MSFS2020

Maybe somebody has managed to get into the Alpha testing and can let us know? A friend of mine is on the Alpha and we tested JoinFS witth me on FSX. The only problem we saw was that I could see his aircraft but he couldn't see mine Edit: his sim is listed as KittyHawk on the Users page That's sound...

Re: Should I be seeing aircraft?

The port (default 6112) may also be a problem. 2 x PCs trying to use the same port. I have one client using port 6112 and another using 6111. Both ports are forward to the relevant PC in my router. Connect each of your clients to a public server or click Global session on each client and you should ...
