Re: Shared Cockpit - Sort of a Bug

Not sure if this makes a difference but the brief but noticeable jitters occurred when the owner took back control of the primary flight controls and we were flying in a helicopter (default Augusta Westland).

Shared Cockpit - Sort of a Bug

Gear and flaps can be controlled by the joining pilot but this is in the primary flight controls handover - not in the 'Other' category. We can confirm that the 'brake thing' has been fixed. No other issues noted with sharing but exhaustive testing was not done. Also - on returning controls back to ...

Re: Auto join feature

Just to jump in with one quick question - if all of us have the Auto Join feature selected, originally all on the same hub, then one aircraft flies into an area that causes a connection to a different hub will that plane disappear from view of the original group. Another way to ask this - if I conne...

Re: Odd Findings

From your lips to the IP gods' ears - now back to seeing the IP4 address. Will watch for information regarding the mysterious missing Hubs. Thanks so much. And, just wanted to pass on to you that it seems there is a genuine movement afoot in our organization to get folks to use JoinFS. With that, th...

Re: Shared Cockpit - Stable v1.1.15

We repeated our testing and this time all seemed to work as expected - all aircraft reflected control, gear, flap, frequencies, etc. changes correctly. So, I am not sure what the issue was the first time. Even landing light and nav light switch position changes were seen correctly. Again noted that ...

Re: Odd Findings

I got stable v1.1.15 from the 'Install' page of the JoinFS site. Initially all showed the IP4 address (3 separate computers). After downloading I restarted the Hub server and had not shut that down until now - I disconnected but took a screen shot before closing. Note the IP4 address in the 'My IP' ...

Odd Findings

We had four people joining one aircraft - no problems. A second group of four folks set up at a different airport (same host Hub) , one acting as ATC. Seems that was when the problems began. The original four, joined by another pilot to make five in our group now could not see all of the aircraft - ...

Re: Shared Cockpit - Stable v1.1.15

Peter - We had seven people join an aircraft. All experienced the brake flag issue (some showing 'Brakes' and others seeing 'Differential Brakes' at various times). They also saw the "jumpy" airspeed indicator. All were in the FSX CRJ-700. All were using stable v1.1.15. We did confirm that...

Re: Shared Cockpit - Stable v1.1.15

Hi, Dan. Thanks for the feedback. I can add the autopilot I think, that shouldn't be a problem. I think the altimeter setting ought to be synchronized, so I'll add that. Excellent. Thanks very much - this will be a valuable additional feature for us You say that the aircraft owner could not see the...

Re: Shared Cockpit - Stable v1.1.15

I will also add to this - in the observer's aircraft there is still an issue with the Brakes / Differential Brakes showing as applied even though there is no indication that brakes are in the the aircraft of the PF. On landing the PF had no brakes whatsoever. And - three others testing cockpit shari...
