Re: port forwarding ON check

We had the same issue with people not being able to see others until we set our "Server" port to 6464. It seems that they were connecting to my flight computer and not the server. When doing this they could not be seen or see others. A quick test is to close 6112 on your flight computer. S...

Re: Join FS Download

It is a false hit by your anti-virus because it sees any EXE file as a Trojan.

Re: Idea: Kind of a JoinFS SDK

Sounds kind of like a LUA for FSUIPC. An interesting idea. (If it is not too hard for Peter)

Re: Incompatible Address?

Peter, the error is no longer showing up. He is now able to connect after going DMZ and then back in his router. I am not sure why that worked, but it did.

Re: Incompatible Address?

Peter, we have a member who cannot connect. I have run a log of our testing for about an hour tonight. The Incompatible address keeps showing up. I am attaching a copy of the log from the Server/Hub. Any suggestions are welcomed!

Hub not showing in Hub List (Local Connection)

Peter, I am running one of our servers in "Hub" mode using version 1.2.10. It is showing in the Hub list to others, but not to my local connection computer.

Re: Incompatible Address?

Peter, we identified the issue. As his server computer JoinFS was set to port 6112, we were connecting to his flight computer which also had this port open. He changed the port on the server to 6464 and all is well. I assume that the connections were taking the path of least resistance, which turned...

Re: Incompatible Address?

It is a computer that we are trying to use as a Hub or Server. I am able to connect, but receive this error in the monitor. I am connecting using his IPV4 IP address, but I believe that IPV6 is available in his area.

Incompatible Address?

I'm getting this error in the monitor this morning when trying to connect with one of our servers: "10/29/2017 1:00:05 PM An address incompatible with the requested protocol was used, fe80::f48f:7d3:9905:f101%10:6112"

What exactly does this mean and is there a way to fix it?

I am glad that you know what you are doing Peter! I can only guess or assume what the bottle necks are. if you need any more data, just ask.
