Re: Protocol interface specification available?

Ok I now understand why you wanted to talk directly to JoinFS. I dont believe it's possible at the moment, but who knows Peter might introduce some way to abstract the data JoinFS transmits or create some kind of plugin feature in the future. The JoinFS chat probably wouldn't suit your needs as youd...

Re: Protocol interface specification available?

I am not sure what you are proposing because I do not know what either of these modules would allow me to do at best. If all they would allow is to obtain traffic positions, I fear this would get ATC-pie no further than where Euroscope+hack users have managed to get. And my intention is not so much...

Re: Protocol interface specification available?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

As far as I know Peter (The Developer of JoinFS) has not made his code available to the public.

Could ATC Pie gain traffic information another way?

Maybe by using UIPC or SimConnect to gain the data from a sim?

Merry Christmas 2019

It's nice to see Father Christmas on the JoinFS Map this year.

Merry Christmas to all.

Re: SIMCOM X Voice application

Last update before Christmas (Merry Christmas to everybody). I found an issue that would stop people connecting to the SCX network, so fixed it. Fixed the issue that Tony found with the standby display, it should now update as soon as it's changed in the sim. And I downloaded the Demo of Xplane 11 t...

Re: My Partner can't see me

In my experience most issues like this are solved by simply forwarding the correct port.

The below link should help.

Re: SIMCOM X Voice application

I believe this is an indication problem only. On the previous version, standby COM 2 displayed a frequency, but did not indicate swapped when selected to active. (although in reality it actually swapped). On the current version, standby COM 2 does not display a frequency, but the app does swap to t...

Re: SIMCOM X Voice application

Thanks Tony. The feedback is very much appreciated. The AutoSwitch, FSX and FSUIPC tick boxes not saving is intentional. I found in earlier versions that if they remained selected with no sim running, it would cause Simcom X to slow down and eventually become unresponsive as it continually tried to ...

Re: JFS & MSFS2020

I read somewhere that the new version will support current Addons. So assumed they would be keeping SimConnect but maybe updating it to support the new sim features? If that is the case then JoinFS and any other Addons you use should still work. Maybe somebody has managed to get into the Alpha testi...

Re: SIMCOM X Voice application

Thanks Al. Let me know if it's working correctly for you. I'll be honest I didn't have much time to test the voice distance feature. Basically if an aircraft is 100nm from you on the ground they should be quiet. If an aircraft is 100nm away but at altitude they should still be quiet, but louder than...
