It seems that everything works correctly.

I see in the debugger all information except from my own plane.
I've tested with H Horenberg.

Probaly is my version of Euroscope not the wright one, cause I don't see any traffic.

Tomorrow of Friday w'll further testing with the version that used bij DutchFlightSimulator

With regards

Hi Hans.
Thats Great!

Thanks for letting me know.

Im assuming you are using FSUIPC or XUIPC if you can't see your own aircraft?

That was intentional when I wrote that part of the code, so that you didn't have your own aircraft on the ground when controlling.
Although I've not done that with FSX/P3D as it was an after thought.

If you don't see ANY aircraft on the scope but the information in the debug console is displayed, then it's 99.9% to be a radar scope setting.

Maybe have a look at the Display setting that shows aircraft above or below a certain altitude.

All versions of Euroscope and VRC should work.

The information will only show in the console if the radar scope has connected successfully.

I remembered earlier today that Peter is outputting the Tailnumber/registration/nickname of a user and not the Callsign and Flight Number.

So to stop any duplicate callsign issues, I've added a tick box to ignore any callsign set and display a users registration only.

A user can enter AAL122 etc in the tail number box if they want to use a callsign.
If no Tail Number is set then the users squawk is displayed instead.

V2.0.0.1
Hope that helps.

That may have been your issue too Hans.
Let me know.

Unfortunately we still have a problem to connect JoinFS with euroscope

First the conditions:
JoinFS (version 1.4.12) is working and in the users and aircraft screens I see 2 user with there planes
In the settings from JoinFS, Wathzzup.txt is on without -include global users, ATC mode is on and euroscope is on.

With EFJFS2018 version 2.0.0.1 with the following settings:
Connects with joinfs (right side)
Connects with euroscope and joinfs at the bottom (green)

In the debugger we see that EFJFS is asking for info from the connected planes.

Euroscope we see left bottem server EFJSF and the welcom message,

The connection with joinFS is point to point without public server

But whe don’t see the aircraft in Euroscope, what can we do.

If whe doing these test with the vpilot connector than we see the traffic on euroscope.

ATC mode and Euroscope are not needed.
Although they should not cause a problem.
What happens if you do select Global Users?

Good.
Euroscope will only be green if it's connected.
JoinFS will only be green if a whazzup file exists.

Can you see the Aircraft position being sent?

METAR SENT!
METAR SENT!
POSITION SENT FOR GABCD!
METAR SENT!
METAR SENT!
etc etc etc.......

jopie_60 wrote:Euroscope we see left bottem server EFJSF and the welcom message,

Good.
This message will only be displayed if ESJFSD is sending data to Euroscope.

jopie_60 wrote:The connection with joinFS is point to point without public server

It shouldn't matter which version you have or how you are connected.
As long as there is data in whazzup.txt for ESJFS to read.

jopie_60 wrote:But whe don’t see the aircraft in Euroscope, what can we do.

1. Check c:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\local\joinfs\whazzup.txt (off the top of my head).
Is there anything written in that file?
Does it change if you open it a few seconds later?
If no, try unticking and then ticking the whazzup checkbox again, until data is written to that file.

2. Have you tried connecting to a hub?
Can you see their Aircraft?

3. Can you connect ESJFS to FSX/P3D or FSUIPC/XUIPC.
Can you see any traffic that way?

4. How far do you have the range sliders In the JoinFS settings?
Are they enough to show the traffic your expecting to see?

It sounds like you have connected Euroscope and the tool successfully.
But it doesn't sound like the tool is sending traffic to the scope for some reason.

Let me know.
If you still have issues I'll try and meet up and help.

Hi,

Thanks for the quickly respons.

Good news and less good news.

I'm now able to see traffic in Euroscope when logged in on the DFN-server and also the public servers, but ...........

First of all I'll answering quot questions. I'm a Prepar3Dv4.2 user.
In the debugging I see also position send for .......

It DOES MATTER that in JOINFS the boxes ATC and Euroscope are UNTICKED, when those boxes are ticked I don't see my aircraft in the debugger, I see "Added position for ...." for other traffic in de debugger.

In whazzup I see that I'm logged in as the airport code, for example: EHAM_APP: Hans Uil but not the CAIO code of my aircraft, squawkcode etc etc

When unticked i see everything in whazzup.

And now the less good and the problem the my aircraft is not seeing in Euroscope on the runway. parking of gate but random on an other place, that can bu more than 30nm from the right place.

When I convert with a converting program f.e 52,45451599..... and 5,521890689.... to degrees the value in degrees are correct, so Euroscope is reading te wrong value.

Other less good news is that the flight plans won't be updated when ESJFS is connected to JoinFs, when ESJFS is connect to FSX the flightplan will be imported.

Is it possible to create a button on the ESFSF gui to send "squawmode C" to Euroscope.

Is it possible to import the weather from FSXWX.exe, that is a freeware program with the actual weather.

In the debugger I see that the METAR is added, which METAR and where is the content visible.

My knowledge from EuroScope is very, very small, our ATC'ers from DutchFlightNetwork.nl are using it.

Normally are the members FSInn and a very old version of vPilot.
P3dv4 is not compatible with FSInn and when using vPilot all other planes will be seen a an Airbus or CRJ700.

Excuse for my por English

With regards

Hans

I've not forgotten about you Hans.

I'll write a comprehensive reply as soon as I get chance.

To quickly answer one of your questions...
The METAR gained is for the station you are controlling
(EHAM).

TO display the METAR in Euroscope you would press F2 and then type EHAM.

This is the latest real world METAR.

Yes that would make sense.
With the ATC box ticked in JoinFS I would imagine Peter would ignore a users aircraft as they shouldn't have one as a controller.
Do you need it to see your aircraft?

This is an interesting one as I've had a play just now and can't replicate it.
But I know that somebody else reported the same problem with an earlier version of the ESJFS tool.

I've listed my findings below.
If you could spawn on runway 36L at EHAM and see if any of the positions match.
I think this issue may be a setting in the flightsim, but I'm not sure what that might be?

Runway 36L EHAM

CoOrdinates sent to EuroScope with the different tick boxes selected.

I've not got an issue with this either.
What is displayed in the debug window when you click the flight plan button?
Are there other aircraft in the session to get a flight plan from or are you trying to update the flight plan for your own aircraft only?

jopie_60 wrote:Is it possible to create a button on the ESFSF gui to send "squawmode C" to Euroscope.

I'm not sure what you mean by this.
Do you mean you'd like an aircraft to squawk ident?

I think I answered this in the post above but I'll add to it.
The ESJFS tool retrieves the latest METAR for the station you are controlling.
So if ESJFS says STATION: EHAM_APP the tool will get the real world METAR for EHAM.
If the GET MET every 15mins is ticked, ESJFS will check for a newer METAR every 15minutes and update EuroScope if it finds one.
Real World metars are sent (in Europe at least) every 50mins past the hour by Military airfields and at every 20 and 50 mins past the hour by civil airfields.
So with the 15mins tick box checked you should have the latest METAR displayed the majority of the time in EuroScope.

Hi Roo,

Thanks for the answering.

The coordinates are all the same in the whazzup.txt and prepar.
I've looked up in the sectorfile from EHAM and those coordinates aere equal.

The problem is that after de loggin in ES my plane (PH-UIL) is not present on the runway 36L bij somewhere in the Northsea. You can see it on the picture called "incorrect".

I like to show it to you by f.e. TeamViewer.

Also is the PH-UIL even like other planes (from other servers).

With Regards

Hans

Can you post what is in your whazzup file, when the Aircraft is spawned on 36L at EHAM.
