Perhaps instead of Team Speak or Skype we should be looking at this simple software............. https://zello.com/app

Just a thought for discussion?

Cheers Mike.

Thanks, Mike, not heard of that one. Will take a further look.

Has anyone else used this?

I'm working on something at the moment Mike which I'm hoping to tie in with Peters JoinFS.

I'll see if I can get a beta version together shortly before expanding it.

Hi thanks for your fast reply. I have used Zello with other pilots for over 12 months and its very light on the PC and internet connection with true PTT operation as you would have in a real aircraft plus the audio quality is excellent.

Here is the link to Zello PTT App................. https://zello.com/app

OK on working on something with Peter sounds interesting.

We used Zello as an Intercom between IVAO Controllers on RFO Events, for example... but I can't see nice for flying.

As I said before, the best approach will be a TeamSpeak 3 Plugin which find the channel with the same name as your active COMM frequency and moves you there. Shouldn't be hard.

I recently came across "Discord" which seems to be popular with simmers and light on the PC and internet bandwidth.
