Updated report:

2 690B's affected, one on ground, one in air.
1 690B UNAFFECTED, on ground next to other.
350i on ground, affected.

Then 1 new person joined with a cessna caravan 208... and the UNAFFECTED 690B shut down.

Not sure why you would lose throttle, none of the changes I made should affect that.

I might try going back to the other thing that I was going to try. It seems as though the events are getting muddled up between the aircraft, even though in the code each aircraft is correctly specified with each event. The other thing that I was going to try involved setting variables rather than events, thereby hopefully staying well clear of the events system.

Peter,

Not very good news. We did some thorough testing yesterday.
1.4.4 w/ FSUIPC running - it did not catch it
1.4.4 / FSUIPC not running - it did not catch it
1.4.4 w/ lua - on initial instigator load it did not catch, but any reload (going back out, then back in) the lua caught it (visual confirmation) and kept the engines running w/ a slight hiccup.

The lua is "event" based too, probably why it didn't catch the initial load. Trying another way for a stopgap only.

Keep up the great work!
Cheers,
Roman

The next version will be variable-update only on the network aircraft. It's called coding with fingers crossed.

Looking forward to this next attempt, any idea when that should hit the pipeline?

Hi Edson,

I started on it yesterday so I should have something ready by the weekend. Just about recovered from Christmas now. :)

Test build now available, http://pmem.uk/joinfs/development.html

Please use this version, 1.4.6, specifically for checking the P3Dv4 engine cut-off bug and report your findings here. Thanks.

Thanks, Edson, that's music to my ears. :D

The next step is to re-enable the lights on the network aircraft, but I don't see that being a problem.

That's really good news. We can get back onto the more interesting stuff now.
