Re: advice on multi users

Hi Mike,

If you use JoinFS at the same time as vPilot then you'll see duplicated instances of the aircraft. I'm not sure what the best solution is at the moment. Not sure about the SAM functionality either. A lot of that depends on how FSX@War works.

Re: How Do I display an AI aircraft across a JOINFS session

It should show in the aircraft list, especially since you got the message about listing the aircraft. Did you try clicking the Refresh button at the bottom left of the window?

Re: JoinFS Hub Address

Hi Darryl,

yes, that is how the setting 'Hub Address' is supposed to be used. You can specify the dns named URL and users selecting from the hub list will be connecting to that named address.

Re: advice on multi users

Hi Paul,

there's no built in limit to the number of connected clients. How many do you have connecting at the same time?

Do you have any further information on the problem, such as events in the Windows Event Viewer or the monitor log in JoinFS?

Re: P3d crashes to desktop using JOINFS

Have you checked the Windows event viewer, there might be a clue there? JoinFS is a separate Windows application. It doesn’t run as part of P3D, so if P3D crashed, then it’s a bug in P3D.

You’re all speaking Greek to me, way beyond my knowledge of cumpewter stuff. Yes, if the first sentence didn’t give it away, I’m a… how do I say this?… I’m a Mac user. This JoinFS thing looks awesome. Are there any intentions to make it available to us guys that ride on the short bus? I'm afraid I ...

No, that shouldn't be happening. I'll look at that as well.

Re: Shared cockpit

It's possible that's it's become broken with some recent changes. I'll look into it.
