As of 1.3.1, that hard link to SimConnect is gone. JoinFS will run fine on a system with no trace of SimConnect. Had to do that for X-Plane users, but it's a nice bonus for those running servers.

Re: X-Plane 11 multi Session

Hi KC, with the latest test version 1.3.6, I can see ailerons, rudder and elevator moving as expected. Doors aren't synced on X-Plane yet, but that will come soon. The aircraft change bug was fixed on version 1.3.4. Other aircraft should move very smoothly. Since the updates are done every frame on ...

Re: JoinFS recording

Hi Roy, There's a couple of issues there. I'll get the player to stop properly at the end of the recording. The other problem is that aircraft aren't being cleared from X-Plane at the moment. Surprisingly I haven't found a way to do it yet, but will keep looking. Just to clarify, you do mean the air...

Re: Aircraft Banking and No Landing Gear

Hi Jack,

I've just found a bug affecting the aileron and rudder trims. I suspect that this is the cause of the banked aircraft.

Will be fixed in 1.3.6.

Best regards,
Peter

Re: 1.3.3 Shared Cockpit

Thanks for pointing out the rudder and aileron trim. An old problem came up again yesterday, which only happens to a few people, where the other aircraft constantly flies at 45 degree bank. The aileron trim desync would explain that. I'll look into it. Hi, I've just found the problem with the rudde...

Re: Linux server

It's for core functionality, but actually that's a very good point that you make. It wouldn't be needed for a headless server. So, yes it looks as though it may be possible to do this but requires some work. I could add it to the new feature list, but be aware that there are plenty of other features...

Re: Random engine shutdowns again V 1.3.3

Version 1.3.5 test build is out.

If you get the engine cut-out bug, try the above steps to obtain a log of events when the problem occurs.

Thanks,
Peter

Re: Linux server

I had a quick look at .NET Core and, yes, you have to specifically build for that platform. But I don't think this is going to work because JoinFS isn't purely .NET, it uses a DLL as well, and I don't think that will work on Linux, but apparently the DLL does work on Wine under Linux.

Re: 1.3.3 Shared Cockpit

Hi, the weather has always been problematic. I need to re-implement I guess. It doesn't really work as intended at the moment. I often use it just to zero the wind during formation flying. Thanks for the heads up about the units of temperature. I'm not sure how that would come about but it's worth c...

Re: Dropped connections

No, you don't forward them both to the hub, you need to forward 6113 to your local LAN client. For example: Device JoinFS port IP Address -------- ------------- ------------ Hub 6112 192.168.0.10 PC 6113 192.168.0.20 Router Settings: Port Type IP Address ----- ----- ------------ 6112 UDP only 192.16...
